I want to add the unlimited text messaging pack for $20 to my pay as you go plan. idk how to do that. can someone help me?

Wait till your 30 days are almost over on your monthly cycle before you change anything in your plan as you will lose anything you have on it if it is not minutes. If you have data , don’t topup again till the 30 day cycle is nearly over because you will lose your balance. It’s lame but it is something that does happen. If you have dollars left on your account balance , at least say five or six, use a $20 card to topup and change your plan from your online account. You will need the extra dollars to cover taxes /service charges. If you don’t have that much money left, topup wit a $30 card. If you don’t pay taxes, Virgin Mobile will not give you what you want. They will charge you texting at 15 cents a text till you are broke. You will THINK you have unlimited till you hit text number 133 and then your account will say you are out of money and you will wonder why.

VM has been bought by Sprint last week. I am hoping new owners mean better service and all. But until they do make changes , here is my general advice about VM.
1)Pay with topup cards only. VM tends to have an overcharging problem like Tracfone and Boost mobile if you put your credit/debit card or Paypal account online with them.

2)Make sure you have enough money in your account for extra fees like taxes. We covered all that already.
3)Make sure you check your account to make sure you are getting want. Especially after you add funds to your account are or make ANY changes. Hell, check it just to make sure once a week.

VM is capable of being a good service but you have to watch out for its weakpoints to prevent problems. Take your time. Read everything you can on the website if you intend to make changes. They have weak customer service because they outsourced it all out in April.Try to avoid those guys on the phone if you can. I tend to fix my problem with emails.

Take care and good luck.

my150x came w. a number for voicemail, I changed it to divert to home but now want to use the phones voicemail for answerphone on the go. What is Sagem UK’s answerphone number please? Can’t go back to defaults because it won’t accept the accounts code I was given when registering it.

i don’t know the sagem number but on ANY phone on ANY network press & hold 1 to go to voicemail and 0 to go on the internet.

If I switch from pay as you go to a contract on a mobile phone (nokia 6310i) can I keep the phone, the number and the sim card

Ditto @ lilmislush2001

To keep your old number, you simply request your PAC (Porting Authorisation Code) from your old network provider and give it to the new one. They transfer your number using this code.

I dont want a very expensive phone but want one with video recording with a large screen and one where you can listen to music on. Any suggestions ?

Try the website below and look for a link in the types of service section called "cell phone info". I would also recommend another called "best rate guide" so you can find the best service providers in your area. Look in the types of service section. These guys really know there stuff! I get their RSS feed since I travel a lot and through fringe areas and use their antenna recommendations to avoid dropped calls and it works!!!

I’m thinking of getting a new phone but i dont want to have to get yet another new number. Is there any way for them to ransfer andif so- how? my only concern is that things will get messed up because i want to transfer from a pay as you go to a plan.

Yes, simply buy the phone you want, dont activate it. Call virgin mobile at 1-888-322-1122 and talk to customer service about "porting" your number from Verizon to Virgin Mobile.

If you have any questions feel free to email me at dennisjara91@yahoo.com

I have a T-Mobile Pay As You Go Phone, and it’s pretty good other than the reception….

Since Verison has such good reception I’m wondering if they also sell pay as you go phones. My dad won’t let me have a real plan due to "how my sisters treated their phone plans when they were my age"

Haha so yeah, if anyone knows let me know! Thanks!!!!

yes almost all carriers have pay as you go, You can pick up the Verizon phones for pay as you go at Wal-Mart. Or stores like that that are around you, and then when you need more mintues you can go to the verizon store or to circle k and get more minutes for your phone
