Chapter 7-
The girl looked down at Joe with a huge smile. She had curly copper hair and bright blue eyes. Her smile was huge and it reminded Sam of Ali’s.

“Leah? Is that you?”, Joe said.
“Yes. How are you?”, Leah said. She walked around to the other side of the couch and leaned down to hug Joe.
“I’m great. How are you?”, Joe said. Sam was listening to the conversation, not really caring a lot about what they were talking about. She didn’t care if Joe talked to other girls because she knew what they meant to each other.

“Oh. You know just living life”, Leah said. She sat down on the armrest of the couch.
“So, what are you doing here?”, Joe asked her. She looked up at him as if he was completely oblivious to the obvious.
“Are you serious? This is my mom’s studio”, Leah said. She was smiling, so Joe knew she was kidding.
“Well, last time I checked you guys were not talking”, Joe said. Leah smiled.
“And when was the last time you checked?”, Leah asked. Sam started to pay attention to the conversation now.
“True”, Joe said. They both stared off in different directions for awhile.
“What are you doing here?”, Leah asked.
“Well, I am here with my…friend, Sam”, Joe pointed out Sam, who was staring at him. She knew she had heard him correctly, so why had he called her just a friend. She turned her head and smiled up at Leah and shook her hand.

“It’s nice to meet you”, Leah said.
“You too”, Sam said. Leah could tell that she wasn’t being serious. She smiled to herself and called her mom out again. She got up and walked over to the clothes rack that Sam had been trying on. She pulled a couple of pieces off and held them up to her. The whole time Joe watched her. He was shocked that he had ran into her. She would look over to him and smile every once and awhile and it didn’t go unnoticed by Sam. She would look Sam up and down every time she did it too. Finally the stylist and Leah’s mom came out from the back.

“I’m sorry Leah, I was on a business call”, her mom said.
“It’s ok mom”, Leah said. She greeted her mom with a peck on the cheek.
“So, do you need something?”, her mom asked.
“Some money”, Leah said. Sam watched as she looked up to her mom with puppy dog eyes and got exactly what she wanted. Her mom then called Sam back up to the platform to try on some more stuff. She went into the dressing room and when she came back she saw Leah give Joe a hug and walk out the door. Sam stared off at her for a minute and walked onto the platform. The stylist made the alteration points needed and sent her back into the dressing room to change. Sam came back full dressed. She thanked the stylist and walked out with Joe in tow.

“Sam, what’s wrong?”, Joe asked as soon as they were in the car.
“Nothing”, Sam said with a little more bass in her voice then necessary.
“Tell me, please”, Joe said. He took Sam’s hand kissed it. She turned her face dead on to Joe.
“Are we just friends Joe?”, Sam asked. She watched Joe’s face fall.
“It’s not like that”, Joe said. He felt his phone vibrate in his pocket.
“Who is Leah?”, Sam asked. Joe looked at her. He was contemplating on whether or not to tell the truth. Sam was staring out the driver’s side window. She heard Joe sigh. He picked up hand and kissed it.

“She is my ex-girlfriend, but it’s over and it has been for a long time”, Joe said. He decided that honesty was the best quality. Sam didn’t say anything. She nodded and started the car. She turned up her music, so her and Joe couldn’t talk. After awhile Joe remembered that his phone had vibrated. He pulled it out of his pocket and looked at the screen. It read: New Message From: Leah. He opened it and read what it said silently.

“It was great seeing u. Let’s do it again sometime”

Joe started down at the message for a long time. Finally he decided to reply.

“Ok, call me later”

He put his phone back in his pocket and grabbed Sam’s free hand. She looked at him and smiled.

Kevin took Lissi to get some food. They sat down and waited to be served. This waitress was all too familiar.

??? : *looking down at her paper* hi, Im Sarah, Ill be your server tonight, can I take your order?
Kevin: *looking down at his menu* yeah, Ill have a Pepsi first. Lissi?
Lissi: Ice tea.
Sarah: is that all? *looks up*
Kevin: yep *looks up* Sarah?
Sarah: uh, yeah. Hi
Kevin: hey. This is my wife, Lissi
Sarah: oh yes, I heard. Hey

Kevin: so you work here now?
Sarah: yeah, the pay isnt too bad. Ill go get your drinks.

Sarah walked into the back room.

Lissi: *jealous* you know her?
Kevin: yeah, shes the one on the date you ruined.
Lissi: I was just getting my man

Truthfully, Lissi wanted to pop this girl like a zit. [note: haha, eww!] When Sarah was bringing back the drinks, Lissi stuck her foot out and tripped her. The drinks went flying. Lissi and others burst out laughing. Her face was red and she was trying to pick up all the ice and the cups. Kevin wasnt laughing though. He bolted over to help her clean it up. Once lissi noticed this, she stopped laughing.

Kevin: here *hands her the last cup on the ground*
Sarah: thanks *sniffles*
Kevin: are you, crying?
Sarah: uh, no.
Kevin: why are you crying?
Sarah: because the manager said if a slip up again, Ill be fired. Now I have to go look for a new job. Again. *sniffles*
Kevin: well, theres an opening where I work, I could recommend you.
Sarah: *stands up* really?
Kevin: *stands up* sure
Sarah: *smiling* thank you so much! *hugs him*
Lissi: ugh! Come on Kevin, were leaving. *pulls Kevin out of the restaurant*
Kevin: why are we leaving?!
Lissi: because I dont want you around that girl. Lets go.
Kevin: kay, whatever.

*2 days later*

Kevin: hey, lis, im going to stay with my brothers this weekend while my parents are out of town. Will you be okay by yourself?
Lissi: uhm, yeah, ill be fine.
Kevin: ok, im gonna leave now. Bye. *kisses her goodbye and walks out the door*

Lissi watched Kevin drive away and then pulled out her cell phone. She made a call.

*at the jonas residence*

Mom: Well be back on Monday. Kevin should be here any minute. Bye boys *kisses them all goodbye*
Dad: behave
Nick: okay.
Frankie: bye mommy! Bye dad!
Mommy: bye baby! Ill miss you!
Dad: bye frankster, come on, lets go.

They leave and soon after Kevin pulls up.

Kevin: o, anybody here?
Frankie: Kevin! *runs up and hugs him*
Kevin: hey Frankie! *ruffles his hair* where are nick and Joe?
Nick: *walks in* right here!
Kevin: hey dude, wheres Joe?
Nick: in the family room.

They all go in and Joe stands up. Theres an awkward silence.

Kevin: uh, hey, Joe.
Joe: hi
Kevin: uhm, look, im sorry, I overreacted.
Joe: a bit.
Kevin: I truly am sorry. Forgive me?
Joe: yeah, sure. I knew you didnt mean it.
Kevin: exactly, now you underst-
Joe: because how could you hate me?! Im awesome!
Kevin: *laughs* yeah, okay. Ill make dinner.

*around 10:00 P.M.*

Kevin: you know, Frankie, you should already be in bed.
Frankie: come on! I wont tell if you dont!
Kevin: yeah, whatever. Oh, shoot, I forgot my cell at home. I’m gonna drive there real fast and Ill be right back. Nick, watch them.
Joe: why cant I be in charge?! Im oldesnt!
Nick: were not going through this again.
Kevin: yeah, I would rather put Frankie in charge, but hes half asleep already. Ill be right back.

Mr. Jonas- you cant, you have a concert tonight in New York
Nick- but I thought that was next Friday
Mr. Jonas- Nick, you have to pay attention more and start listening, I told you a couple days ago that it was going to be tonight
Nick- it wont take long I promise
Mr. Jonas- sorry Nick, you cant go, you obviously dont have anything packed since you didnt even realize it was tonight
Nick- fine then [he goes to his room] oh I know! Ill just call her [dials her number]

Nick- MITCHIE I—

Nick- [closes his phone] [thinks- ugh nick your so stupid why didnt you leave a message; he dials again]

your call has been forwarded to an automatic voice message system—

Nick- [closes his phone, sad] she turned off her phone, she must hate me

** A while later after he finished packing**
Nick- [dials again and it is still off] come on Mitchie, turn on your phone

Mr. Jonas- Come on Nick, time to go
Nick- I guess this will have to wait Monday, maybe it will give Mitchie time to think [he grabs his suitcase and leaves]

**On Monday back in Texas**

*Nick walks up to Mitchies front door with a buckeye of white roses [Mitchies favorite]**
Nick- [knocks on the door]

–No answer—

Nick- [knocks again]

–No answer—

Nick- [calls out while knocking on the door] Mitchie open the door its Nick!

–No answer—

Nick- [he calls her cell phone]

–This phone line has been disconnected—

Nicks POV—And thats when I started to panic, she had disconnected her phone line, I knew there was something wrong, so I knocked once again calling out her name, this time sounding more impatient, and then I peaked through her window and saw something that broke my heart..it was empty.
Mitchie was gone there was no furniture in her house, I could feel my knees getting weak and water taking over my eyes, This could not be happening! I was gonna go into her house and find her there playing her guitar or talking to her mom like I always had
So I ran to the back of her house and opened up a window in which Mitchie once had escaped to take a stroll around the park at night with meI climbed in and ran up to her room and opened the door hoping shed be there, when I did I found….nothing. She left leaving no trace behind, but only a box in the far corner of the empty room that was labeled Ill always love you
I opened it and found all of our pictures together, on the very top of the pile was the autographed picture of me and my brothers that I had given her the day we met with a heart around my face drawn in a red marker, I digged in deeper into the pile of memories she kept and found the very last picture we had taken together.she was wearing a black dress and I was wearing a blue tux, it was the day I had given her the promise ring.
I stood up with the picture still in my hand and grabbed the roses from the floor where I had placed them and threw them to the wall,
Feeling so much pain in my heart that I almost couldnt breath,
She was gone. GONE! SHE WAS GONE!! I threw myself to the wall and slid down
Keeping the picture close to my heart and began to cry like a baby.

Previously someone came up to Kevin and Kandy and told Kandy to get of HER man. Aj was planning something evil for Joanna. Joe wanted to tell Joanna something. Nick was gonna give something to Nichole but all the lights went off and a girl screamed.

With Nick and Nichole…

Nick: you know you are the most beautiful girl I have ever met

Nichole:*blushes* Thanx… and you are the most handsome guy ever

*suddently the lights turn off and a girl screams*

Nichole: OMG!! What just happened *the light turn back on*

well i haven’t made a fan video for a long time… and given how much i enjoy Angelica’s performances i thought i’d give it a go…. it would be great if she got the attention from the music industry (imo) that she deserves… she must be awesome to work with in the studio, and seeing what she’s done with the home-studio resources she has.. i think she’s done awesome… i can really appreciate the hard work she puts into her career… like making her own instruments for popular cover tunes and her own songs…

so this is the least i can do to pay her some honors for the hours of enjoyment i’ve received… cheers to you Angelica!
